About me
Running and fitness have always been fundamental parts of my life.
I completed my first marathon many years ago in 3 hours and 9 minutes. After this, I achieved my fastest marathon time of 2 hours 44 minutes.
Alongside this, I improved my cycling and I completed the London to Brighton a couple of months later in 4 hours and 29 minutes. I have run hundreds of marathons, half marathons and shorter races.
In the last few years, my goal has been to complete ultra runs (between 30 and 150 miles). To date, I have completed more than 70 events with 14 being of 100 miles or more.
Achievements
Some amazing adventures and goals I have achieved include:
- Cycling from John O’Groats to Lands End in 7 days x 2
- Running a 240 mile challenge in Namibia
- 7 marathons in 7 days across Portugal
- 3 ultra runs in 3 days 50 miles, 42 miles, 103 miles
- GUCR 145 miles non stop
- 14 100+ miles Ultras completed to date
- Multiple international marathons
Health and fitness is a massive and fundamental part of my daily life. I love it and I love sharing my knowledge and experiences with others so that they can share my passion.
